Your Highness,

It is with deep sorrow to hear the news of passing of Amir of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.

On my behalf and that of the Albanian people, I convey to you, and to the friendly people of Kuwait, our deepest sympathy and condolences, as you mourn the death of your loved leader.

The architect of modern Kuwait’s foreign policy, he left behind the legacy of good neighborly relationship and of peace among nations.

We will remember His Highness for his generosity for helping Albania, providing financial support to several important infrastructural projects in our country.

We, friends and allies, pray that His soul rests in peace.
